Local Lodge 1786 Officer and Steward Election are over

Following is the results of Tuesday's (December 1st) elections.  As most of you know, this is for a 3 year position.  The Elected posts start January 1st with Induction ceremony to be conducted at the January monthly meeting of the local (Jan. 5th).   Congratulation to all the elected Officers and Stewards.

Following is a listing of the Nominations resulting from the November Local Lodge meeting.  Please read the entire document for ALL the information you will need to vote on Tuesday, Dec.1st. 2015.

IAMAW/ DYNCORP Int'l Contact Negatiations Final round

It is time to finalize the 2015 Contract Negatiations for the Ellington Field Working Men and Women that support the NASA Aviation Effort.  These Men and Women support the various specialized aircraft dispached from Ellington Field in Houston Texas.  The Radification Vote for the coming contract will be Tuesday, August 18th at the American Legion Hall located directly across from Ellington Field on Hwy 3.  Please note the flier below for details.

Sister Cindy Morgan Passes



Sister Cindy had been a hard working Steward for her shop for several years.  She will be tremendously missed, Her Professionalism, care, and concerns for her fellow workers has been greatly admired and appreciated.
It is hard to say farewell to a good Union Member.
District 37 and Local Lodge 1786 would like to express it's heart felt condolences to the friends and family of Sister Cindy.  


Cindy Lou Morgan

Cindy Lou Morgan, 54, passed away peacefully from this earth on August 9, 2014. She was born October 14, 1959 to Virginia and Jay Allen, in Houston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers. She is survived by her daughter, Casey Jo; son-in-law, Jeremy Feller; and granddaughter, Delilah Rose; sisters, Virginia Hall and Carolyn Allen; brothers, Patrick Allen and wife Diana, Donald Morgan and wife Kim. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 22, 2014 at Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson, Texas. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to MD Anderson Cancer Center, P.O. Box 4486, Houston, TX 77210-4486.
